So my parents are empty nesters.
All of their little birdies have spread their wings and flown away.
Let me ask you, what would you do if all your kids were grown up and on their own?
Traveling would be on the top of my list.
What did they do?
They filled their nest right back up.
With Chickens and Bees.
Lets just say if the country collapses I know where to get eggs and honey.
Does it count towards my preparedness if they are prepared?
Yes, the answer is yes.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome!!! I love fresh eggs! We had chickens growing up!!! I would love a beehive, but I have a beephobia!!! But I think that is so freaking awesome!!! Now all they need is a cow and they will have all you need to survive!
ReplyDeletePS I mean like a milking cow!
ReplyDeleteAwe...I love your parents. Oh, and this is great to know because I've been searching for a good apiarist.
ReplyDeleteIt only counts if they are willing to share--which by the number of those eggs, I would assume they are. Your parents make me laugh. Always so busy with something. I sure hope I get to spend some time with your family before we leave in June.
