But this definitely applies.
I cannot believe it's possible for a baby to go through the whole teething process. I mean the whole thing:
fever, snot like Niagara falls, cranky child unable to be comforted, 1-2 hours sleep a night, even the mucus infested cough.
Here comes the injustice:
The poor baby going through all that, and even I can feel the tooth under the surface, BUT THEN THE TOOTH GOES BACK DOWN!
Bless her heart.
What? I haven't had that happen with my kids. Poor Bridget. You know a little whiskey never hurts... for Mom or baby.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the hell of teething. It sucks, huh? That happened to Paisley all of the time. Months of slobber and pain, all for one little tooth!
ReplyDeleteI got some of those mesh bags for babies to suck on and would fill them with crushed ice, or would freeze a damp washcloth and those helped.
Good luck to you momma! Did you know you can alternate Motrin and Tylenol every 3 hours?! Each baby responds to something different.
I hope her little tooth pokes through soon, for both of your sakes!
Awe poor Appril...and poor Bridget....I can't believe she is teething already.
